What’s Covered (during the 1-year term)

Coverage applies only to products purchased new from Massage Chairs Cheap (MCC) and used for non-commercial, residential purposes.

Massage Chairs (core components)

  • Frame & Structure: Welds, brackets, rails, seat base, and armature components that fail under normal use.
  • Motors & Actuators: Back/leg recline motors, roller/track drives, and air pump/valve units.
  • Electronics: Control boards, power supply, wiring harnesses, sensors, and internal fuses.
  • User Interface: Handheld controllers, built-in control panels, and display modules (excludes cosmetic scratches).
  • Air Systems: Airbags and internal tubing that leak or fail due to manufacturing defects.
  • Roller/Track Assembly: 2D/3D/4D roller heads, tracks, and belts when failure is not caused by misuse or obstruction.

Massage Accessories

  • Motors/Actuators, Electronics, Battery Packs (if applicable), and Internal Wiring that fail due to manufacturing defect.
  • Charging cables/adapters supplied with the product (defect only).

Labor & Parts

  • Parts: Replacement parts for covered defects are provided at no cost.
  • Labor: Reasonable labor is covered when provided or authorized by MCC (onsite, depot, or remote guidance at MCC’s discretion).

What’s Not Covered

  • Wear & Tear: Upholstery creases, fading, scuffs, foam compression, loose threads, stitching wear, or minor squeaks not affecting function.
  • Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, stains, discoloration, or soft-touch finish wear after delivery acceptance.
  • Improper Use/Installation: Misuse, abuse, neglect, impacts, liquid ingress, pests/pets, heat exposure; incompatible power sources or third-party parts.
  • Unapproved Repairs/Mods: Any service or modification not authorized by MCC.
  • Commercial/Institutional Use: Gyms, offices, clinics, showrooms, Airbnb, etc. (Ask us about a commercial plan.)
  • Transit Damage after Acceptance: Freight damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos on the pallet/box.
  • Consumables: Zippers, Velcro, decorative trims, rubber feet, non-structural plastic covers, and finishes.
  • Software/Firmware/Apps: Issues caused by third-party updates, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth environments, or user settings.
  • Force Majeure: Flood, fire, lightning, power surges/outages, etc.
  • Used/Refurb/Open-Box not sold by MCC or any product from unauthorized sellers/marketplaces.

Warranty Term & Eligibility

  • Term: 1 year starting on the delivery date shown on carrier records.
  • Original Purchaser Only: Non-transferable; proof of purchase required.
  • Region: Valid for orders delivered within the United States (contiguous 48 states by default; AK/HI/PR may require special handling).

How to File a Warranty Claim (Step-by-Step)

  1. Gather info: Order number, delivery date, product model/color, and (if present) any serial number.
  2. Document the issue: Clear photos and a short video (controller display, error codes, affected area, overall setup).
  3. Email: vanselmi@massagechairscheap.com with subject “Warranty Claim – [Order #]”.
  4. Troubleshooting: We may ask you to perform safe, simple diagnostics (e.g., reseating a connector) to confirm the root cause.
  5. Resolution options (MCC decides based on diagnosis):
    • Ship replacement parts with instructions (and optional remote tech assistance).
    • Onsite or depot repair via an authorized service provider.
    • Replacement unit (new or equivalent reconditioned) if repair is not practical.
    • Refund (rare; only if repair/replacement is not feasible).
  6. Return of parts/unit: Defective parts/units may need to be returned using an MCC-provided RMA. Please keep original packaging when possible.

Shipping & Service Terms

  • DOA / Freight Damage (within 48 hours): Report immediately with photos of packaging, label, and damage. We arrange repair/replacement per carrier and supplier policy.
  • Parts Shipping (covered claims): Standard ground shipping typically covered by MCC; expedited options available at customer cost.
  • In-Home Service: Where available and authorized by MCC. If not available, depot service or guided self-install may be used.
  • Packaging: For depot service or returns, you’re responsible for proper packaging. If you no longer have the box, we can help source packaging (fees may apply).

If a Part is Discontinued

MCC may replace the defective component with a functionally equivalent part or assembly. Cosmetic differences may occur on equivalent components.

Relationship to Manufacturer Warranties

Some brands we sell may include a manufacturer warranty. If a manufacturer warranty is longer or more generous than MCC’s 1-year limited warranty, we will honor the longer/stronger applicable term for your covered defect through coordination with the maker. Terms vary by brand/model.

Out-of-Warranty Support

We want to keep your chair running long after the first year. If your product is out of warranty, we can still help with:

  • Diagnostic guidance
  • Parts sourcing at fair market cost
  • Access to authorized service providers (labor/visit fees apply)

Your Responsibilities

  • Use the product as intended and per the owner’s manual.
  • Keep the product clean and free of obstructions in roller tracks and air intakes.
  • Use only proper power and surge protection per the manual.
  • Do not disassemble or alter internal components unless MCC instructs you to do so for diagnostics.

Limitations of Liability (plain-English version)

This 1-Year Limited Warranty is your exclusive remedy for covered defects. MCC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (time lost, missed appointments, rental chairs, etc.). Some states do not allow exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you.

Governing Law & Disputes

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute first goes through good-faith negotiation with MCC Support. If unresolved, the parties agree to binding arbitration in Maryland, except claims that qualify for small-claims court. You retain any non-waivable rights under applicable consumer laws.

Do I pay anything during a covered claim?
MCC covers parts and reasonable labor for covered defects. You may pay for expedited shipping (optional), missed-appointment fees (if applicable), or any costs related to improper use or non-warranty issues.
What if my chair arrives damaged?
Photograph the damage immediately (before disposing of packaging) and email vanselmi@massagechairscheap.com within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll coordinate repair or replacement per carrier/supplier rules.
Is upholstery covered?
Functional failures due to manufacturing defects can be covered. Cosmetic wear (creases, fading, stains, scuffs) is not.
Can I transfer the warranty if I sell the chair?
No. The warranty is for the original purchaser and is not transferable.
I use my chair for a clinic or office—am I covered?
